I got my love of cooking, as well as my methods, from my Mamaw, a " lil of this and some of that" kind of cook, but always true to our Southern roots. I am 46 and was never fortunate enough to have kids, but I am blessed with wonderful family and at age 40 I was blessed to meet the love of my life. We were married a wonderful 13 months when he passed away. Since then, I became involved with an online grief support group. I met the best friends of my life and we ventured out to form our own group for widow support. This is a user driven set of groups that runs free and as sad as it can be when we must welcome a new member, it is my proudest achievement. We now have over 300 members and I have seen so much healing it makes my heart almost explode!
